For a commitment of 1 blog post per week on a specified day the blogger will get :

The 3 blogging positions I am looking to fill will write specifically about one of the categories below :

• Wordpress Themes & Plugins : The blogger should be an experienced WordPress blogger and be able to write a post every week about a specific theme or plugin or a summary of the latest themes and plugins which have been released.
• Social Media : The blogger should have a lot of experience with social media and be able to write articles on Twitter, Digg, Sphinn and other social media related sites.
• Writing/Grammar : The blogger must have an excellent grasp of English (preferably a native English speaker) and be able to write high quality articles about grammar, spelling, vocabulary and pronunciation. POSITION FILLED

Please note that all applicants must have at least 6 months experience of blogging and have an excellent grasp of english. Posts should be of a good length too (please check a few posts from BloggingTips to get an idea of how long posts should be).

I have had a good response to this job advertisement. The writing/grammar position has been filled and I have had a lot of interest in the wordpress plugins and themes position so I believe that will be filled in the next few days.

Additionally :

• Forum Posters – Posters must have a strong grasp of english and be knowledgeable with gaming, electronics, computing and other tech related issues. Posters will be asked to write a few test posts and will be hired on the basis of those posts. Payments will be paid in arrears on a monthly basis via paypal.
• Forum Moderators – The forum moderator will need to satisfy all requirements of a forum poster and will also need to have experience moderating a forum. Moderators will help set the tone of the forum and will help deal with spam etc. Experience with vBulletin is preferred. Moderators will be chosen from influential forum posters or those who can provide a link to a forum they have helped moderate (applicant will need to provide link to profile and verify that the account is theirs).

The site is getting a new design soon so I am looking for 2 or 3 new weekly writers. I need one writer to post on a Friday and 2 writers to cover the sunday posting schedule.

UK Tech/Gaming Blog

I am looking to hire a writer to contribute to my UK based tech blog. The blog is mainly focused on gaming , laptops and gadgets etc.

The applicant must have experience in blogging and have an interest in gaming and tech related topics. The blogger must, I repeat must be based in the UK, as this is a blog written from a British viewpoint. Please do not apply for this position if you are not eligible. I will not reply to those who are based outside the UK (I know this sounds harsh but I wasted a lot of time on this before and USA and Asia based writers kept writing things from an outside view).

Joke & Funny Picture/Video Blog

Myself and a friend are launching a joke type blog. The blog currently has a basic design however a premium theme will be bought in the coming months, just now our main priority is getting more traffic to the site by adding good content.

The blog will be targeted towards UK gamers and will cover all aspects of gaming. Namely : PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, Online gaming etc.

I am looking for a maximum of 2-3 bloggers to blog every week. Infact, I would prefer to get one blogger in at the start who can blog 2-3 times per day. The blog will have a lot of news posts but will also have personal views on new games which are coming out.

How much will the blogger be paid? Well, that depends on a lot of things. Frequency of posts, quality of writing etc. As a guide though, someone who can commit to 2-3 good quality posts per day can expect $200-$400 a month (£100-£200).

The blogger should

• Be an avid gamer who actively reads gaming blogs and forums and printed monthly gaming magazines
• Have written posts on other blogs or forums and have a proven record of consistent high quality posts
• Be based in the UK. It is very important that the blogger is baed in the UK so that they can respond quickly to important UK gaming news and events

Most posts in the blog will have pics or images attached so a basic understanding of photoshop or something similar is essential.
